DA/2020/0982 GREAT NEWS - NOW APPROVED APPROVED APPROVED AS OF 28/1/2021
Great news - the plans for replacing the existing temporary changing facilities have been submitted to seek planning permission on November 3rd 2020.
After a great deal of toil from the team, the WSA /WBPC joint Planning application is now complete. A great deal of information has been provided and collated to support our applications. Our thanks to our Designer, Lynne Walker, for preparing a superb document package for submission and to Sue Butler for input to the support documentation.
It will take a little while for the planning application to be registered and a case officer assigned at Daventry District Council but once in place we will share with you the Planning Application number and would ask that you may take some time out to offer your support to the application be that a letter or an online comment via the DDC website
Here is an artist impression of the replacement units to provide changing/showers, Referee changing and a welfare space including Kitchen and Disabled Loo. The site will also have security fencing and CCTV installed to ensure the buildings can be vandal proof. The WBPC aspect of the application is to extend the size of the existing car park.
The proposed plans can be seen here: 2020 replacement changing facilities and welfare
The supporting reports can be read here: 2020 replacement changing facilities, welfare and car park extension

***** Update May 2020 ******
WSA are currently investigating possibilities to replace the existing temporary changing rooms at Jubilee Field with further 'temporary units' (will last a good few years!!) to support the needs at the field. It is stlll early days and when we have some further news to share we will do so.
The project as detailed below would have been the ideal but right now with funding so tight and the cost of a brand new big building / services / access road etc too prohibitive, the solution to replace existing in situ will be an attainable solution to deliver for our village.
